our weekend getaway at the marina exceeded all expectations. The warm and friendly staff, including the manager and his assistant from Norway, made us feel right at home. The private houseboat with its stunning views of the harbor and marina was truly unique and provided a peaceful and quiet night.

Wifi was slow.

The room at La Mare Resort was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy seating area where I could relax and watch TV. The bathroom was clean and had a spacious walk-in shower. The apartment was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware. The private entrance made me feel like I had my own little home away from home.

Personally, I found the feature of a houseboat in Gothenburg a bit unconventional for my taste. However, I understand that some people might enjoy the unique experience it offers.

I absolutely loved the nautical-themed decoration of the hotel. It made me feel like I was on a grand adventure at sea! The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I especially appreciated the spacious and comfortable seating areas where I could relax and enjoy the view of the marina.

I would have preferred if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little extra assistance and consideration would have made my vacation even better.

I had been wanting to visit Liseberg for a long time, so I chose La Mare Resort due to its good location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they can arrange a bicycle rental service. This allowed me to explore the city easily and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, I loved the well-equipped kitchens with refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas in the apartment. It made my stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

There was a minor issue with the hydraulics in the bathroom during the beginning of our stay. Whenever we used the water in the toilet sink, water would come out of the shower and another unknown source in the bathroom.

We had a unique experience staying in our own private houseboat with stunning views of the harbor and marina. The boat was equipped with everything we needed, including a full kitchen and rooftop terrace. The value for money was excellent and the reception staff were helpful and easygoing.

The check-in process was confusing and there was no one available to assist upon arrival.

The units at this resort were incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for our Christmas getaway. Not only were they well-equipped with a kitchen containing a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, and more, but they were also very clean. Plus, the terrace was a great addition, and we absolutely loved the sauna and hot tub. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind during our stay.

The limited signage and poor check-in process. It was a bit confusing to find our way in, and we had to rely on flagging down a staff member to help us.

I always return to my favorite place in Gothenburg. The staff once helped me with my heavy bags. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, Jacuzzi, laundry, and more. I'll be back for New Year!

The location is serene and peaceful, away from the city center but easily accessible by tram or a short walk. the houseboat itself was amazing, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It was well-maintained, clean, and had everything we needed. the highlight was being able to see an ice breaker boat breaking the frozen sea right in front of us, a truly unique and cool experience.

Felt completely secure, no complaints.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.

The value for money at this hotel was really good, and the room was comfortable and well-equipped. The location, although initially seeming far away, was actually only a short tram ride away from the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

One suggestion for improvement would be to expand the breakfast selection.

I had a whole houseboat to myself with a balcony and free WiFi. The soundproof walls were a treat. And let's not forget the eco-friendly cleaning products, because I'm all about saving the planet.

I just loved staying in an industrial warehouse area. It really added to the charm of my experience.
